This is one of my favorite days of the year, and it’s been so amazing to hear about all of the great ways Zwinksters celebrate and honor everyone’s homegirl, Ma Earth. Above is the first of two eye-popping collections of nature/Earth Day room designs coming to the blog. On to your inspiring Earth Day reflections:

sw4qq4_s0_siick: Hello Ms.Adventure. I help the environment in a lot of ways! (: 1. I use tap water most of the time because i have a trillion water bottles, so I just fill them up again and again! 2. I live near a beach and the trash there everyday is horrid. I usually get a lot of my friends and clean the beach Wednesdays and Saturdays! 3. This road that no one goes on near my house always has tons of fast food bags and other things so I clean up over there almost everyday after school. 4. A lot of my school items such as pencils, binders, and erasers are all made out of things that people recycled. 5. I usually don’t eat candy but I discovered these lollipops that are 100% organic!! Even the stick that it’s on is biodegradable. 6. My back yard is even going green! I have a compost! I use that to plant flowers and food so we don’t always have to go shopping. 7. _jacka#s__:  how i take care of the environment: first off, i hate it when poeple litter. it stupid. i just wanna go off on them . they dont take care of our planet its like they want to die. i have a lake in my back yard and its just disgusting waith trash, tennis balls, hula hoops and dead fish. so i cleaned it up and did a pretty impresive job. i recycle 24/7 365 days a year. i recycle anything at school, my house or even my friends house. if they dont recycle ill get the thing they threw away and put it in the recycle bin. if i need a drink ill use a reuseable water bottle instead of using a new one.when everme and my family have left overs from dinner, i always say ” why do u guys throw it away? give it to a hobo or something” i mean seriously give the leftovers to someone in need of food and money. i dont drive yet but when i do drive im goin to get a hybrid car definatly! now i just walk or ride my bike . and also if people in my house arent home they keep the light on! so i turn every single light off. and thats how i take care of the environment. GO GREEN!(:

mypasswordispassword: Hiya Ms Adventure. For Earth Day, I donated 40 dollars to protect sea turtles (leatherbacks). I donated the money to Ecology Project International online, and I will be doing this annualy until I un-subscribe, I started doing this last year, Its not that i care most about turtles, it’s just last year I watched a programme about them, it showed a video of a babey turtle being attacked by a bird. peace_me_123: well earth day is coming soon and my bffs birthday is on that say day i am planning to give her a suprize earth day party since she love earth day because i help the environment an stuff like that i raised money in a bake sale and donated it to the go green team at our school and thier raising money to plant a new garden right next to the school and buy some more eco friendly note books for us!

aaliyah_l0ves_dogs: i love nature because all new animals pop up every time and the flowers like the sun flower and the the kids all come and look at the animals.THE BEST thing i love about nature is that new things always come like the bees take the honey the foxes come and new flowers r born. so thats y I LOVE NATURE

zizo31: Hey Ms_Adventure, here’s my Earth Day pic and note. Personally, I like to share my love for nature with others and encourage others to do the right thing for our planet. We can all take small steps in the right direction, and eventually those small steps add up to a huge step in the right direction. Many people think they’re only one person and can’t do much, but the truth is they can make a difference, everyone can. Small steps such as taking a shorter shower to reduce water usage, buying a reusable water bottle instead of a plastic water bottle and most of all having a recycle bin in your house. I live my life, yet live a green life. Everyone can make a difference is what I believe, no matter how big or how small, together we can make a difference.
