Celebrate Halloween and earn ZBucks!

Love Halloween? Want ZBucks? Join us in the Halloween celebration and earn ZBucks along the way! This year, we've added a great new feature where you can dress up your Zwinky and then earn Zbucks by posting it to Facebook or other social networks!

Each time you share your costume (to your own wall or to a Friend's wall), you earn 50 Zbucks, with a maximum of 500 ZBucks per day. So make sure you head over to BOO-TIQUE, grab some costumes, and join in the fun! And don't forget to come back each day to keep on earning those ZBucks!

First things first, you've gotta head to the Boo-tique! Our designers have truly outdone themselves this year, adding some amazing new looks to the racks. In honor of the late, great pop star Michael Jackson, you can moonwalk away in one of these thrilling looks!

With a new Tim Burton movie on its way, "Alice in Wonderland" is about to be huge again. Here are a few ways to get into the surreal spirit!

And "Twilight" fans may recognize these vampire costumes as being inspired by the Volturi of "New Moon!"

Whatever look you choose, make sure you show it off for your friends!

Miss Anastasia will tell you more in the next couple of days about how posting your costume on places like Facebook can actually earn you ZBucks!

Finally, for the first time ever... the Zwinchester and Zwink! have teamed up to bring you not only the looks, but the party... all at the same time!

The party's totally started at Zwink!... redubbed Fear Factory for this festive occasion! Show your Zwinky Halloween spirit with some mingling in the themed rooms that have always been so popular at past parties!

What's a Zwink Celebrity?

Woah Zwinktopia! You guys are sure making my job easy! Thanks so much for all your friend requests and Znotes! You are sure making me feel so welcome! I am going through each and every one of them and I agree, you've all got what it takes to shine in the spotlight!

I wanted to take a moment and clarify my role here in Zwinky and what exactly I'm looking for. While you're all being really creative with your campaign messages, this is not what we had in mind. Zwinky Celebrities will not be winners of popularity contests or elections. A Zwinky Celebrity is someone who has contributed something special to Zwinktopia, something that the rest of the community should definitely know about. It's about being unique and coming up with something new and cool or a way that you have enhanced the Zwinky experience. Don't tell me you?re a celebrity; show it by showing me what you've created and I might just highlight it here on zwINK. (Remember, it's got to be appropriate material for ALL users, including under-18).

I'd like to give you example of what I will be showcasing.

A few hints about Halloween costumes

Boo!

Ooooh, Zwinksters! I know you're as excited as I am about Halloween and all the treats that are in store in Zwinktopia! My sources are giving me only bits and pieces at the moment and I'm trying to figure out what I can and can't share without getting anyone in trouble (especially me!).

For example, one of our high end designers gave me a sneak peek at her costume designs. I felt totally like Anna Wintour getting a preview of Jean Paul Gaultier's upcoming line in "The September Issue"!! Anyway, all I feel safe revealing is that you will want to be caught dead in these amazing looks!

Meanwhile, in my deep investigations and through lots and lots of way off the record interviews, I have managed to verify that the Halloween store (which according to one anonymous source is going to launch "sooner than expected") is not the only place that will feature some frighteningly awesome looks! The Daily Keepsake is also going to be a hot spot to score some great items!

The invoice I saw called for one dorm Keepsake (which I swiped a picture of) and four wardrobe items: one for each body type!

Keep your eyes peeled for these items in the Daily Keepsake box in the coming weeks so you can grab them for free!

Zchievements aren't a secret anymore!

Maybe it's because I'm nosey (which is what makes me born to be a reporter) or because I'm competitive. Whatever the reason, I've been curious for a while about how many Zchievements other Zwinksters have accumulated. But then, I'm also somewhat skeptical. So even if I ask "How many Zchievements do you have?" I'm hesitant to believe someone who says "I've got 100,000!"

All of this, however, is obsolete now that Zchievements are visible on our profiles. Did you notice?! Check out your BFFs profile. Here's an example from awesome user o_0sorly0_o.

You can also click on someone inworld and see just how into Zwinky they are!

This is just another cool aspect of Zchievements we've added recently. Miss Anastasia blogged about how we've updated the basic wardrobe so that you don't have to get to 2000 Zchievements to get access to anything at all. That's all for now, but there are definitely high hopes for Zchievements in the distant future!
