Interacting with your Zwinky friends in Zwinktopia just got a whole lot easier! I'm happy to announce that we've released the ability to invite your online Zwinky friends to join you in whatever room you're in, no matter the server.

It's super easy -- here's how you do it:

1) Click on the "View/Add Friends" button


2) On the Online Friends tab, you'll now see a link to "Invite this friend to your location." Click on it.


3) You'll see a Windows dialog box stating, "You are about to invite your friend to join you." Click the OK button.






Easy as that!

Don't forget you can join your friends from the Online Friends tab, too. Enjoy!

Hi Everyone!

Today Mister E and I were hanging out in Zwinktopia when we came across a Fashion Show at Lexi Hall! It was great to see everyone participating, dressing up, having fun, and even winning prizes! Here are some images I grabbed from the event!

Wow! Thanks for all the Znotes as a result of my recent zwINK post! Of course, I am only one person, so I am unable to answer everyone's individual questions separately, but I will do the best I can to reply when I get a chance.

Keep in mind that if you have technical questions or problems (such as trouble playing games, loading Zwinktopia, or using your wardrobe) you should contact our fantastic Customer Support Team. They will investigate your issue and respond with ideas for solving it.

I have also noticed that I've received several Znotes asking about the password for the Safety Room. Sorry, but I can't give the secret password away! If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret!

So, here is what I can tell you - Explore Zwinktopia! We have hidden the password somewhere in one of the chat rooms, so walk around, look for secret items, and when you find the password, enjoy the safety room! You might even want to try chatting with other Zwinkies to see if they know where the password might be hidden, or what it is. But for now, I'm keeping the secret, so have fun on your quest to find it!

I was in Zwinktopia late last Friday night and met up with a few of my Zwinky friends at The Colozeeum. It's always fun for me to interact with Zwinksters to see what they're doing in Zwinktopia and learn about new and creative ways they're using the product. I almost always use the opportunity to plug upcoming features and events, get feedback about existing features, or just answer questions.

While my Zwinktopia celebrity status pales in comparison to that of Miss Anastasia and Miss Casey, my friend bleep felt my appearance was "special" enough to take a picture.

And it just so happens that it was omikron's one year Zwinky Anniversary. So, Happy Anniversary, omikron!

While reading my Znotes today, I came across a question from my friend -monkey_10931-. I figured I would do a quick Q&A session right here on zwINK so all of you can read my answer.

Question from -monkey_10931-: Hi! On Zwinktopia, why is it that when other Zwinkies say your full username... why do you hear music? Just a simple question!

Answer: We added the musical tone feature so that you can tell when other Zwinkies are talking to you within Zwinktopia. For example, maybe you are hanging out in Zwinktopia but then open a new web browser to look at a Zwinky Profile Page, or check your email. If you hear the musical tone, you will know that someone is trying to chat with you or ask you a question back in Zwinktopia. We figured it was a nice little addition to your chat experience.

At 2am this past Saturday (07/07/07), me and the rest of the Zwinky team were hanging out in Stage Z to see the kickoff of our big event! During the 24 hours of programming, we had more than 150,000 Zwinkies stop by to check things out. Everything went great, and we were pleased to help raise awareness about the dangers of global warming and spark discussions to save the planet.

Here are some comments that were posted on our Stage Z profile page:

"All of my friends laugh at me when i tell them to pick up their trash... Don't they know that they're hurting the earth???"

"I watched the concert all day... and I can't help but feeling like this is the start of a revolution!"

"I think what you guys are doing is great. I am all about saving the earth. I really liked the music and the videos today, this is a great way to educate young kids about global warming and how to stop it."

"Stage Z rocks, it's cool and it helps the earth. Save the planet!"

"I think what you're doing is awesome. I've replaced all of the light bulbs in my house to CFLs. I also drive a fuel-efficient car and totally support alternate fuel research. Good luck today! I hope you reach a lot of people!"

Here's a quick tip... play some games and start saving your Zbucks, because before you know it, you'll be able to buy your very own dorm room, decorate it, and invite friends over to chat with you! But hey - having your own room doesn't come cheap, so you might need to save up if you've been spending too much time shopping at the mall!
