First off, thank you so much for the warm welcomes you've put on my profile page. The great notes and eye-poppin' artwork remind me of everything creative that I love about Zwinky!

I can't tell you how stoked/honored/dizzy-thrilled I am to join the fun-derful world of zwINK! Ms. Information has left some super sweet shoes for me to fill. Living up to her legacy is going to be the best adventure yet!

And speaking of adventures...I wouldn't jump into zwINK without some OMGNoWay breaking news about Zwinky! Hold onto your helmets...Zwinktopia has a new hotspot in its goodylicious shop-o-sphere!

I have some news... it's both great and a little sad... but mostly great, I think!

As you know, for the last two years I have worked for Zwinky as the Managing Editor of zwINK. It's been amazing to work with great writers like Miss Thang, Miss Cosmopolitan, Mister Snacktastic... all the bloggers, really. And, heck, I could keep doing this forever and ever and I know that there would always be an amazing story to tell!

On the other hand, I've been offered an incredible opportunity – one that's a new challenge and, frankly, a little frightening (in the way all good challenges are). So, it's with excitement that I tell you that I'm going to be stepping down as the Managing Editor of zwINK.

What!? What could possibly be so challenging and interesting that I'd give up what I think many of us agree might be the best job in the whole world (Zwinktopia AND real life!)?

Well, I've been offered the chance to manage Z's Greetings! I'll be commissioning and ordering the cards for the store from our sister site, MyFunCards! BTW, be sure to "Like" the MFC homepage (not to mention your favorite cards) and to follow along on the MyFunCards Twitter page!

But I digress. First of all... DON'T PANIC! zwINK is gonna be as awesome as ever!

I conducted a world-wide search to find the perfect replacement. And wait until you meet her! You're gonna love her!

Ms. Adventure is gonna make not only a great Managing Editor, but just a really fun addition to Zwinktopia. When she's not surfing at The Beach, or doing other crazy awesome stuff, she'll be the one deciding who writes what for zwINK.

But don't think you've gotten rid of me that easily! Ms. Adventure has been nice enough to ask me to stay on as a contributing writer. So, I'll definitely be popping up with posts! And I'll certainly see you at all the big events in Zwinktopia!

Hey Everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic June and enjoying Internet Safety Month. And make sure you go to the Safety Room to take the quiz and grab your new gear!

I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that you have the ability to control your chat experience while you're hanging out in Zwinktopia. That is why you're presented with the server select screen with options for "Standard" chat and "Protected" chat before you select a chatroom.

Standard Chat is the original Zwinktopia chat experience, complete with censors for any inappropriate words. And in our Protected Chat servers, you can comfortably chat knowing that the words come from a pre-approved list and are free of profanity.

The coolest part is that you can also control these settings in your personal room, so your guests will use the chat method that you prefer!

And finally, you also have the option to turn chat off if you're feeling particularly antisocial at the moment. Just use the on/off balloon in the chat bar to turn this switch on and off.

Pretty neat, right? So go ahead and take control of your chat experience! And no matter what you choose, remember to stay safe and have fun!!!

Happy Internet Safety Month! As Ms. Info let you all know, most of the zwINK bloggers are writing posts about how we can keep ourselves, our friends and our fun safe on the Internet... especially here on Zwinky!

The Internet can be a really great place to obtain information, have fun, shop and even read up on some of our favorite celebrities, but we need to remember to be cautious of the things we do and say.

There are some Zwinky users that the rest of us just love to be around. I know that when Mister E walks around in Zwinktopia everyone wants to spend time with him and hang out... and who wouldn't? However, there are times when an admiring fan, whether they mean it or not, can take things a bit too far and become a little too overzealous.

It seems we are always hearing about celebrities that come in contact with over-eager fans. Most recently, I read an article about the smart and beautiful Ivanka Trump. Ivanka is the daughter of the famous "You're Fired!" Donald Trump.

This past April a man was charged with sending Ivanka several e-mails, writing her hundreds of messages on Twitter, and even showing up at her jewelry store in attempts to see her.

Luckily, Ivanka spoke to the proper authorities and the necessary actions were taken. Celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and Janet Jackson have also had run-ins with fans who are way too enthusiastic.

And it's not just celebrities that have had issues like this on the Internet. It's important to know when someone is being flattered by your attention and when they feel a little creeped out. Likewise, if someone is bothering you or acting a little too fervent in Zwinktopia, first start off by kindly asking them to give you some space. Don't be rude. Be clear. If you find that that isn't working, feel free to use the safety features on Zwinky.

On the site you can block another user from chatting with you or accessing your profile page from the person's mini-profile inworld or on your profile page.

You may also change your dorm room visibility from public to private.

The Zwinky Help Center is open 24/7 to help you with any problems you may come across in dealing with a situation. Feel free to report anything that you feel is an issue and our support team will help you out. And lastly, if the situation seems to be more than you can handle, speak to an adult. They'll be able to help you make the right decision.

Zwinky is a super fun and safe site for all of us, but it's always important to be careful, know your options and ask for help when you need it! Have fun in world, Zwinksters, and I'll see you real soon!

I'm sitting here admiring my computer! I know that sounds so weird right? But listen, if you're like me, you spend most of your day (Your week? Let's face it... your life!) staring at a computer screen. So, I think what you do with it can really make or break your mood!

I mean, look at it like a Tootsie Pop... you may have layers covering up it up, but you always know what's lying underneath! Mmmmmm Tootsie Roll!

What I mean is, even when tons of windows are open and you can't see it, the perfect desktop motif can still be totally important! With Lights, Camera, Prom! coming to an end, I'm personally feeling a little blue. I decided to cheer myself up with a little desktop fun.

So I went to our sister site, Popular Screensavers, and OMG! It has just had an awesome overhaul!

It looks amazing and it's now so super-easy to use! Just hovering over a smaller picture will give you a bigger look at it. And then you're just ONE CLICK AWAY from installing it! You can choose a screensaver or a desktop image that easily.

You can search for specific stuff you want and save your faves to a personal gallery. You can even post straight to Facebook and show off your new look!

Oh, and did I mention that there are even Zwinky screensavers? Yup! How cool is that?

New stuff's being added all the time, so keep up with PSS on Facebook and on Twitter to always know what's new that you can use!

May was quite the whirlwind of music, wasn't it? I was my normal side-gig over at Zwink! got really surreal when I was asked to DJ some music themed to the Zwinky prom rooms!

But it's back to the studio. If you're listening on campus to the new music I've been introducing, I definitely wanna hear from you! So, check out my new poll and vote for which songs on ZWNK in ZSU you're liking the most!

World Cup mania starts today and we are super excited to bring a little of our own sports action to Zwinktopia!

Yesterday, the Colezeeum was transformed into a gigantic soccer stadium! It's the perfect place for meeting up with your Zwinky friends from around the world to chat about the latest games and your favorite teams.

The alien warrior costumes were my favorite. And what did you think of the Jungle room?! I think I spent more time there than any other part of Zwinktopia. And I have to say that all of you made Zwinky look very elegant.

So, all of the excitement surrounding the last few weeks got me thinking. There are so many things we take for granted as just having always been, like graduations, popsicles or "The Simpsons." But when you stop to think about it, there must have been a first for all of them, right? I mean, where did prom actually come from?
