This week we launched a new chat feature called Protected Chat. The goal of this is to give you Zwinkies more control over your chat experience in Zwinktopia!

When you log into Zwinktopia, you will notice a new fancy Server Select Screen. Standard Chat is what we are calling our old chat environment that you?ve been familiar with over the last few years.

In our new Protected Chat servers, users can chat more comfortably knowing the words are pre-approved and free of profanity.

You folks will also be able to control the type of chat you prefer in your dorm rooms by accessing the Room Settings menu.

Another new feature we introduced is the option for No Chat. Simply select the chat bubble next to the Chat bar to turn on and off chat. Tired of the conversation in a chatroom? Just turn it off!

So, the decision is yours! No Chat? Standard Chat? Protected Chat? It?s all up to you! We are working hard and listening to your requests in order to make Zwinktopia a better place! Enjoy!

Wow, everyone! The "Chosen One" amongst wizards just got his magical butt kicked by a guinea pig! And not even a real one, at that!

I've got to tell you, I'm really surprised to read the news today that after only one week, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" was beaten at the movie box office by "G-Force"! Seriously, who could have predicted this?!!

Don't get me wrong... we all knew that Potter's pull would wax and wane. It wasn't going to be the No. 1 movie all season long. But to be ousted so quickly? Well, I can't help wondering whether enough fans agreed with my assessment that the top slot was lost because so few of them wanted to see it more than once.

I hope all of your summers are going well!

So I have been EXTREMELY busy today. In Zwinktopia I have been doing some....painting. Yes, a whole lot of painting (and maybe some more decorating). I don't know if this purple paint will ever come off my hands and clothes. I cannot tell you exactly what I was painting today or where I was in Zwinktopia but be sure to stick around because it will definitely be worth it!

Before I spill the beans and get myself in trouble here, I need to change the subject! Today has been filled with more secret intern work of mine.

Has anyone been on any great vacations yet? I'd love to hear about them. Drop me a Z-note and let me know if you have any recommendations for me. I am just beginning to plan a vacation of my own for the end of summer and I want to make it special so I would appreciate the input!

Let me tell you Zwinksters, there are many exciting new things happening around the Zwinky office these days. As summer continues the office keeps getting busier and busier. You all should be very excited for what the Zwinky team has in store for you over the next few months, but as I promised I cannot let you in on those secrets just yet.

With the end of summer fast approaching, I unfortunetaly have had to start thinking about moving out of Zwinktopia. As difficult and stressful moving into my dorm in the End Zone was, I think moving out will end up being a lot worse! I lend all the blame on my close proximity to the Zwinchester, in my time here I have acquired tons of great new clothing and furniture (it's not my fault that I get paid well!).

All I know is that I am going to need a lot of sturdy boxes and strong helpers when the day comes to move out.

As usual, the sun is out and that means only one thing...I am off to the Beach!

Now, if I could only get this purple paint off of my hands...

Hello Zwinktopia!

I'm sure you all have already seen our newest update to Zwinky! I am very excited about our new "Earn a ZCard" feature. There are many different offers to choose from including ones that are totally FREE!

I know there have been a few Znotes going around that say that all of the offers cost money. Not true! Make sure you browse through all of them because, trust me, there are some great ones that don't require any payment.

The offer I filled out and am enjoying at the moment is the "Just learning to cook" offer under the FREE tab.

I saw this offer and knew it was perfect for me because I love to cook, but am still learning and could definitely use any help I can get!

Wow, today must be my lucky day! Mister E just informed me that I could leave work early today, so I am off and heading to the Beach to catch some sun before he changes his mind! See you all there!

Last night was the big night, right Harry Potter fans?!

Now, not to toot my own horn, but Ms. Information's been in the entertainment biz for a long time! So usually when opening day for a Potter film approaches, it means a trip out of Zwinktopia to New York to catch a press screening a few days early. But this year you may have heard there was a bit of a mix-up!

When the release date moved from November to July, it turned out that IMAX theaters had already committed to screen "Transformers 2" all month! Well, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will be on IMAX screens all over in a couple of weeks. But for now, it's only appearing on two super big screens – one in NYC and one in LA.

So Ms. Info had to decide... midnight regular screening on Tuesday or 6 p.m. IMAX screening on Wednesday?! Huge choice, right?!

Well, I went with the later and boy am I glad I did!! Not only is the size and sound bigger and better, the first 15 minutes of the film were in 3D!!!

Awesome!
