Election Day? Pshaw - It's National Candy Day!
As odd as it may sound, someone decided to make today, November 4th, National Candy Day. Just four days after Halloween (prom night for candy manufacturers) and the same date as Election Day in the U.S., today we now learn serves as a day to celebrate candy diversity.
Don't get me wrong, I love me some snacks. My Zwinky profile layout was designed for me by one of our talented Webfetti designers, Jason, and is called Chocoholic Chocolate Candies. I write snack reviews for fun. And I eat candy on a regular basis. But hey, even I have limits.

Halloween and National Candy Day both within a week of each other? I guess with the economy as tough as it is right now, we all can leverage our leftover Halloween loot and let it count toward National Candy Day, as well.
And on the same day as Americans stand up and decide who will lead the country for the next four years... we all can stand up and vote with our wallets as to which candy treat we feel is the right one right now for the job of quieting our cravings. That's my plan, at least. Today, for more reasons than one, I ask myself - do I feel like a nut?
However you vote today, remember...
