Hello you gorgeous Zwinksters!

It feels like its been ages doesn't it, sweetie pies? Well, let's face it...it has been. I know, I know. I'm not really doing well keeping up with my New Year's resolution, am I? Shame on Miss Thang! Well, I have been known to be a bad girl every now and then...guess this is one of those times!

But it doesn't mean my love for you all has faded. In fact, it's stronger than ever! And that's totally why I'm checking in today. A little birdie told me Prom is on the way, and you know what that means...it's time to start the hunt for the perfect date. I know I've offered up some keen words of wisdom in the past about this very topic, but a little reminder never hurt anyone right? And frankly, love can be a twisted game, and I'm here to help unravel the knots!

First and foremost, bring who you want to bring. Sounds obvious, no? Well, sometimes it's not so simple. You might feel pressured by others to bring (or not to bring) a certain individual for a multitude of reasons. But you are the one who has to hang with this person for the entire evening. So your happiness is what's most important - not anyone else's. Check out Constance McMillen's story if you need more proof. And may I say, you go Constance for sticking up for what's right!

Second, take a chance. OK, I know...this may be advice you've heard from me before. But if Miss Thang chooses to repeat something, then it's certainly worth a listen, right?! Got your eye on someone special? There's no better time than now to make your feelings known. What's the worst thing that can happen? They say no? Well if that's the case, then frankly you were too good for them in the first place!

And lastly, it may take two to tango, but it takes a group of crazy cronies to shut the place down! There's no law saying that you can't attend Prom with a gaggle of your girls or guys. Being in love is not a prerequisite for having a good time. So grab a bunch of buds and party the night away!

Well lovey doves, I have a TON of things to do to get ready for this smashing occasion, and shopping of course is at the top of my list. (When is it not, right?!) So I'm going to get moving. In the meantime, keep me posted on how your Prom plans are going. And I can promise you, I'll be there. Don't believe me? You think Miss Thang would ever pass up the chance to get all glammed up and see her favorite peeps? NEVER!

See you soon!
