Wow, I can't believe we are already at the end of 2008! What a year it's been! So many juicy happenings for us to secretly (and not so secretly) drool over! I'm talking about all the guilty pleasures we've been sinking our teeth into for the past 12 months. And there have been some good ones. As you know, Miss Thang is the queen of guilty pleasures...after all, it's what love is all about, no? So let's take a look at all the things that got my heart pumping in 2008:

1) The new 90210 and the fact that Brenda is back, baby! Need I say more? She is and always will be my top drama queen. Although girlfriend looks like the years haven't been too kind, huh? Lay off the cigs, honey - they'll kill your looks and your life!

2) MTV's The Island Take a load of good-looking strangers, drop 'em off in the middle of the ocean, leave 'em with little food, lots of alcohol and a bucket full o' attitude and you have pure television genius!

3) Gordon Ramsey Watch this man pummel insults and profanity at his hard-working minions and suddenly your bad day will look a little brighter. (Oh Gordon, how I love you!)

4) Perez Hilton He knows everything and I mean EVERYTHING! And he's not afraid to tell it like it is, a trait Miss Thang certainly admires!

5) Facebook C'mon...you know you spend way more time than you should hunting people down like dogs! But there is something sickeningly addictive about it that makes it impossible to stop!

6) Writing about the exploits of me and my fellow bloggers on zwINK Oh how I love my job. And frankly, what's life without a little drama right? Mr. Metropolitan and Ms. Information, you definitely make life interesting! Can't wait to see what 2009 holds!

7) Guys who are goofballs I must admit, I have a weakness for men who know how to laugh, specifically at themselves. I call it the Vince Vaughn complex. I'd take a sweetheart with a sense of humor any day over an overstyled, overdone pretty boy.

8) Joel McHale Ok, this one is definitely related to number 7. I have the biggest crush on Joel McHale. If you don't know who he is, I'm not even going to tell you because the only way to truly understand his deliciousness is to watch The Soup! Then let's discuss.

9) Watching Sarah Palin get interviewed Miss Thang was extremely proud to see a woman approach such an admirable position in American government. But then we caught you in interview after interview where you seemed to have selective amnesia (to put it politely.) Granted it was pretty entertaining to watch, which is why she makes this list. But Sarah, dear, do me a favor. Next time hire a PR person who has a taken a history class at some point in his/her life.

10) The hottest designers finally making clothes we can afford Vera Wang, Isaac Mizrahi, Sigerson Morrison, you are all my heroes! Thank you for bringing your luxurious art to the masses!
